Where Life Is Just A State of Mind

May 1984: The period between designer Stephen Sprouse’ FW1984 runway show at the Ritz and Keith Haring’s 26th Birthday at Paradise Garage. A saturday night in NYC in 1984. From the Ritz, to Area, a stop at Danceteria, and ending up at Paradise Garage. Where Life is Just a State of Mind, reflects the context and ephemera created in this period in a collection that tells their story through simple tailoring combined with vintage patchwork and graphic applications.
